Requirements and design conditions for architectural louvers
1. General requirements for architectural louvers
Architectural louvers are mainly used in the transparent part of the building envelope and the part that requires control of the sun's rays. Therefore, when designing architectural louvers and selecting aluminium shutters technology, it should be considered at the same time as external doors, windows, and shading facilities, and integrated design should be carried out. Reservations should be made in advance on the technical and structural interfaces.
2. Design conditions for aluminium louvers
When the building has higher standard requirements, aluminium shutters sunshade measures should be taken when the following conditions meet 1 or 2, as follows:
(1) The indoor (outdoor) temperature reaches or exceeds 29°C.
(2) The indoor depth of sunlight exposure is >0.5m.
(3) The indoor time of sunlight exposure exceeds 1h.
